I downloaded Oracle 10g over 5 months ago and could not install it for the simple reason that their was an error on the operating system compatibility. Apparently, Oralce and Vista don't work well together.
I have recently found that by going into the cd section and changing the compatibility of the setup file, it works.....change the it to windows xp then run the setup.
